OVERVIEW

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card that allows you to activate a mobile network plan without needing a physical SIM card. It’s built right into your device, working just like a physical SIM card but without the need for one. With an eSIM, you can easily switch between networks or activate new plans whenever you need.

With Spot, having an eSIM ensures that you’re always connected and able to take full advantage of Spot’s features. Whether you’re managing your finances, buying electricity, airtime, or data from the Spot app, an eSIM makes it easy to stay connected and in control.

USAGE

How can you use an eSIM?

With an eSIM, you can easily set up your mobile plan without needing a physical SIM card or use it as a prepaid SIM. You can top up with affordable data directly on the app. You can use it in conjunction with your current SIM card and either keep your two numbers or we can port your number over to your new eSIM.

In your phone’s settings, you can choose the default mobile network for calls and data and toggle between them.
